Description

Though the breast is best, any mom will attest to the convenience of providing bottles of breast milk for the baby. However, pumping milk is not always enjoyable or convenient, which is why this deluxe pump is truly deluxe. Its optional double-pumping action lets Mom pump both breasts at the same time, and the electric- or battery-powered unit makes it easy to use at home or at work. The flexible suction cups plus adapters allow for modification where necessary and a suction-release button makes disconnecting a breeze. The two extendable arms adapt to meet personal comfort needs and the two bottles can be stored or used immediately. Transport the unit in its own carrying case and then use the enclosed cold pack for keeping milk cool until placing in the refrigerator or freezer. Carefully read instructions regarding sterilizing, cleaning, and caring for the kit.Product Dimensions: 11.2 x 9.1 x 5.2 inchesBatteries: 2 C batteries required. (Not Included)

Customer reviews for 'Natural Comfort Double Electric or Battery Breast Pump'

Worse device ever

I just received the pump and it doesn't work. It has no suction at all. I called customer service and they told me to boil it again and it should work.

I really liked this pump...

Although I see most of the other reviewers hated it, I loved this pump. It isn't too noisy, but it isn't exactly quiet either, it does make a humming noise. But I had no problem using it the entire time I breastfed my son- 12months. I will add tho that I had a very abundant milk supply, more than enough milk for my son, I probably could have easily nursed twins without having to supplement. I also had a 38C/D cup, so larger breasts weren't a problem with this pump for me. I did have to clean it often, I would say you should at least rinse all the parts after each use to make sure it's clean and has good suction. I also put the parts in my microwave sterilizer every day too. For me it was easier to just use one side of the pump, but I did manage to use both sides on occassion. For the price, I think it's a great pump, and I plan on using it again with this baby that is due in october. I also purchased a manual medela harmony tho, since sometimes I preferred to use a manual one over the electric models (noise level, and lack of outlet/batteries, and sometimes the manual ones are easier on sore nipples) So I will be giving that review sometime around november ;) I did have a really cheap gerber manual pump, not the newest model, this is a 4 year old model and it worked ok, but hurt the hands after pumping for a while. I would imagine the newer gerber manual would be much better.

Don't bother with this one, buy the Medela instead or rent a hospital grade pump

Too bad 0 stars isn't an option, and thank goodness I didn't waste my own money on this pump. A friend received it as a gift, then decided to formula feed. She never even took it out of the box, and gave it to me. I thought, great, this will be my "second" pump to use at home since I had already purchased the Medela Pump in Style Advanced to use at work. To start, this pump made LOTS of NOISE! Then, I couldn't get one side of the First Years pump to work at all (no suction,) and on the side that did have suction, I couldn't even achieve let-down after working with it for half an hour. I can achieve let-down with my Medela within 30 seconds, and be finished double-pumping within 15 minutes (about 4-5 ounces each side) So, I am still carrying my Pump in Style back and forth from home to work so I'll have a good pump when I need it. The only use I've gotten from the First Years pump are the collection bottles and nipple assemblies -they fit on my Medela pump as "extras." By the way, if you do purchase the Medela pump, you will need to purchase bottle collars & nipples separately if you plan to feed directly from the collection bottles.
