Many years of fun
My infantren and I all loved this toy. It was a great intro to music and the turning of each block makes for different musical results, which was good for holding smaller infant's interest. The only con is that the blocks get lost easily. Although they always seemed to "reappear" it would be nice if they could somehow secure to their spot better. The cartridge feature was great too but after a few years it stopped reading. Even tho, the kids kept playing with it. I only threw it away when I couldn't find two of the blocks anymore and didn't feel it was worth replacing them.

Not as great as older version
We have both the older and newer version. While the newer version is okay, we really enjoy the older version because of the music choices. The older version takes the cartridges and you can switch out types of music to some really neat choices, from surf music to world music to mary poppins. The newer version (2007) has 3 music selection, which just wasn't enough for us for long term, but good for getting our two year old started and distracted while our 4 year old played with the older version. We also found the newer model did not have as good sound quality as the older version. Overall, however, the product was fun and educational, and so for, indestructible. (-:

Love the toy, but company out of business!!!
We have owned this for two years and love it!!! However, Neuromith stopped making these products (hence, the low, low price) and cartridges. So, if you want a cheap toy, great. But you'll get no support from the company. Unfortunate, because they really did have a wonderful line of toys!
