Not what I expected it to be!!!
I am actually quite disappointed with this book that I just received. It is not much of an activity book. They should have called it a 3D crinkle book instead because that is pretty much all it does. Every page is the same crinkly fabric over and over again. I was hoping it would have buttons to fasten, zippers to zip, velcro to put together, ties to tie together, etc. but it doesn't. If I were to design a book I would put all that kind of activities in it and more. It does have a string with a handle that you can pull and an object moves, but I feel that is only something an older infant will be able to master. I am still hoping that it will keep my infant's attention and prove me wrong, but I doubt it. For people out there who are thinking about buying this book, please don't waste your money because it is not worth the price. I am sure that you can find another activity book on the market with a lot more "activity."

ok product
This product isn't what I thought it would be. Most of the pages are very similar (crinkly noisemaking fabric, etc.) so there isn't much variety to keep my infant's attention. I was expecting different activities such as tying laces, buttoning buttons, fastening snaps, etc. This isn't really much of an "activity book" at all--at least not for a 16 month old. It may be fine for a infant under 12 months.

Excellent first book!
My little girl really loves books .... not for the story, at this stage she is too young to appreciate such things, but for the chewability value of the object! This book is great because it's extremely durable (e.g. if bitten it will not disintegrate!), it has great educational value with the differing textures and noises and the peek-a-boo mirror (which most every kid I know loves). This book will last and be used for many years to come ..... my little girl has used hers constantly since we first bought it and still has a keen interest to explore it anew as she develops and notices new things about it! A great buy ..... although you could probably get something similar elsewhere for cheaper .... but it will last you for many years and is not an annoying toy for adults to have around!
