great toy!
Haven't had any problems with this toy and we have had it over two years. Very sturdy plastic pieces. Hours of imaginative fun.

More than one version of this toy: mine has 3 sounds only
Just bought this used for X-mas. I've read other reviews and it is now obvious that there is more than one version of the "Sweet Sounds" home. Mine was manufactured in 2005 and has J9000 on the bottom of the pieces, so I'm guessing that's the model number. It looks very similar to the pictures above, but the only sounds are the telephone ringing, the three kittens meowing, and "Mama, Mama" and a lullaby when you press the baby bed. I think my niece will love it anyway, but beware what you are getting!

Fabulous First Dollhouse
My daughter got this dollhouse for her first Christmas in 2005 when she was 9 months old. She played with it all of the time. She loved how the Little People fit into her hands. She discovered all of the neat noises that each room made. She is now 3 1/2 and she plays with this toy constantly. As she has gotten older she has put different dolls and animals in there. After almost 3 years of continuous play, it is still in great condition! It is a wonderful first dollhouse for any baby/toddler.
