Attention-keeper for quiet times
I bought this for my daughter for her first plane flight; she was 17 months old at the time and the flight was 5 hours long. I kept the book hidden until we got on the plane, and she was immediately entranced. It held her attention and she could play with it while in her car seat, giving Mom and Dad a break. Two months later it's still a sure bet to hold her attention for a while. I take it with us to restaurants to keep her entertained and it works like a charm!

A favorite
Not only does the toddler I bought this for play with it often but the older kids all enjoy sitting down to play it with him. He was able from first receiving it to sit by himself and remove the shapes and find the right spots to replace them, and did so without prompting. While the shapes are magnetic I find that I have to watch closely for them not to be misplaced because they do fall out somewhat easily. Not so much of a problem that I regret buying it. Overall it's a great activity for my 25 month old.
