Description
Horatio and his friends guide infantren through a new set of interactive skill building segments that are educational and fun. In volume 2 of the Horatio Lion series, Horatio continues to teach new concepts using an interactive and entertaining approach to educate the viewer. Volume 2 builds on the format established in Volume 1 and teaches infantren an array of new topics including: bath time, nap time, eating, cleaning up, transportation (car, plane and train), musical instruments, what animals say, counting to 10 (counting and quantity concepts are taught), alphabet, telephone, can you tell me where your head is? (eyes, toes . . .) jumping, flowers growing in the garden, colors and much more. Topics such as bath time, nap time, eating and cleaning up were designed to help parents with subjects that can sometimes prove difficult with infantren. Parents can use the video as an instructive tool by pointing out to their infant that Horatio takes a bath, nap, etc. The 30 minute video combines music, songs, puppetry, computer animation and lively pieces starring the infantren. The video is recommended for infantren ages 1 and up.

Awful, brainless, annoying
Hopelessly lacking in wit, intelligence, or creativity. Lame animation, ultra-low tech computer graphics. Annoying narration, reminiscent of a puppet show put on by 8 year olds ("now I'm walking over here, doh de doh"). Normally I would donate unwanted videos to the local public library. I threw this one in the trash instead.

Interaction!
Interaction! Is what I love about this DVD. My daughter has been watching it for a few months, switching between Volume 1 & 2 and hasn't gotten bored of it.

We love Horatio!!
I have volume 1 also so I thought it would be nice to check out volume 2. Once again this is a wonderful video. I have a 2yr old and 9 month old twin boys and they all absolutely LOVE Horatio!! He makes everything so interesting and fun as well as educational. I highly reccommend this video. Horatio teaches lessons like eating, taking a bath, a nap, counting, ABC's, animals and more! Its just fantastic.
