Great crib! Worth the price.
I was lucky and my parents purchased this for me for my first infant. The crib is just beautiful! It's very sturdy and my husband was able to put it together in an afternoon. In seven months I've only found one scratch, and we have cats and dogs and a busy household.
I like the fact that we'll be able to use this for many years. It may be pricey but if you consider the long run you'll save money (and the hassle) of having to purchase a toddler bed. (And it goes just great with the Zanzibar nursery theme!)
I'm expecting again and will be purchasing another DaVinci crib!

Beautiful Crib
Great crib and not too hard to put together. All pieces came perfect. must follow directions and they're not the greatest. Very sturdy but does scratch easily. overall I love it.

Excellent Crib
I was impressed to see that this is actually made from solid wood. It looks great and was straight forward to put together. Keep the baby monitor on or the door open-since they make the slat openings wide enough that a baby won't get jammed in, our little kicker has gotten herself in some awkward positions with each leg through a different slat. No worries so far of her getting hurt-I just pick her up, snuggle her for a few seconds and all is well. Overall I am really happy with this crib-Baby sleeps great having plenty of room to sprawl out.
