Great inside shoes
We have used these shoes for my son since he was 6 months old (he is now 2). We call them his "slippers." These are NOT for outside use. The sole is just one layer of suede. They are not waterproof and any bumpy surface would be very uncomfortable to walk on.
A popular theory is that it's good for arch development for a infant to go barefoot around the house. If the idea of bare feet makes you nervous, these are a great option, offering just a little bit more padding than socks but no arch support. These are great indoor shoes, being soft on feet and on our downstairs neighbors. The elastic is not too tight on the ankles but the shoes don't come off. My only complaint is the price: I hate paying more than $20 for shoes.

Sock Savers!
I love Robeez! My baby kicks her socks off constantly, and I get tired of searching for missing socks! Robeez keep her socks on, but still allow her to move, wiggle, and kick her feet without the feeling of heavy shoes. From a developmental perspective, it is better for babies to learn to walk in soft-soled shoes, so Robeez are perfect! I have 2 pairs of Robeez, and plan to keep buying them until my baby is ready for regular shoes!

Great Shoes for Babies!
I bought these shoes for my son, then 3 months. They have been well worth the price. These shoes do not come off not matter what. Not with a diaper change/change of pants or anything. They have been wonderful and he always gets comments on his shoes. They keep his feet warm and keep his socks on. He has grown out of them just recently and I have purchased the Robeez booties, which also stay on well. I will be buying another pair of the regular Robeez slip-ons also. I am addicted to these shoes!
