Great for dayhikes and school

Have used this bag for almost a year now and couldn't be happier. I use it for college luging books and then also as a daypack for hiking. The laptop compartment works great as a hydration bladder storage area and holds two 2l bladders perfectly for those hot summer treks. The suspension strap system carries the load well and fits my 240# 6' frame great. The rain fly works like a champ. After lugging around all my books and then doing double duty as a hiking pack, I have seen no damage to any stitching at all, just a little fraying on the zipper pulls. High Sierra rucksack

I bought this backpack (rucksack in Europe, I think) because it would fit under an airplane seat, and would hold lots of stuff for day hiking in Germany for two weeks. It was just what I wanted, better than backpacks for value and my purposes that I found in sporting goods stores here in Huntsville, Al. This Access Pack will hold my computer on business trips in the US. It has lots of pockets to hold documents, jackets, food, first aid kit, etc.
