Awesome Product but get it at Babies R Us
This is a 4-5 star product. Makes a potentially slippery bath tub safer and more comfortable for a baby.
The EXACT same product is available at Babies R Us for $3.99 not $39.99!! Four dollars or Forty?!? You make the call:)

Do you think a disposable bathtub baby sponge is worth $39.99?
I purchased two of these when the price was in the right price range. After notifying Amazon and the ShopKeeper about what I thought must be a typo - ($39.99) I was told by the ShopKeeper that I could buy it for 34.99 but that was the lowest they would offer. Who are they trying to fool? Is there anyone out there willing to pay that high price for...a bathtub baby sponge...which after a couple of months does MILDEW and have to be Thrown AWAY? How ridiculous is this? Oh, and the explanation for the extreme inflated price - they said it was due to higher gas and shipping prices. In case you didn't notice, the added shipping charge for this item is over $6.00 on top of the high price. I would give the product two thumbs up at under $5.00 but I certainly give the company both thumbs down for lack of customer service and business practice.

Keep baby safe and comfy
I used an infant bath sponge like this one for both of my infantren and the foster babies we tended. I have, also, given it as part of a baby gift. I can't praise the product strongly enough.
For new borns, I placed the sponge on the counter top beside the sink. I, then, had both hands free to bathe the baby.
Until a infant could sit up, I used the sponge in the bathtub. I would fill the tub with water to the level of the sponge. Again the sponge held the baby so I had two hands free to do the bathing.
When finished, just wring out the sponge and set it in the corner of the tub.
It's lightweight, so it is easy to take if you travel.
Once a infant could sit up, I had them sit on the sponge and didn't worry about them slipping and possibly hitting their head on the tub.
