Very Useful
I bought this in February 2008 to take my then 11 month old on a business trip. I have used it about 4 or 5 times since. I'm very happy with it. I agree with the reviewer who complained about how much of a hassle the long screws were. I get around that by only unscrewing one side for disassembling. It shortens the amount of time to get the seat back on the cart and protects from losing the screw. I could send the seat & cart through security assembled but on our last trip, it wouldn't fit. Instead, security just manually scanned & checked the seat for me. We usually just use it as a stroller in the airport & as an easy way to transport the carseat. I gate check them. The one time I attempted to bring it down the plane aisles, it wouldn't fit. Since my son still sits on my lap for trips, its just easier. I'm not sure what we'll do when he needs his own seat.
We get all kinds of looks in the airport together. He is happy riding along in his seat and having a seat that he can get in & out of on his own, unlike the stroller. I like it enough that I've recommended it strangers in the airport. Instead of recommending it to family, we just offer to loan ours out.

Wheels fall off
I purchased this product to use for my 2 yr old son for airport travel. The first time I used the product I flew by myself & had to have a lay over in a large airport where there was a lot of walking to get to the different terminals. I put my son in his car seat & then in to the travelmate & started to wheel him to our next plane... The wheels continuously popped off the frame & I had to stop constantly to put them back on. Also, when I tried to wheel the product on to the plane to put my son in his car seat in the plane seat... The travelmate with the car seat wouldn't fit down the small plane aisles. I had to carry the travelmate with the car seat & my son over my head. It was very difficult to get the product on & off of the car seat while having the other plane passengers waiting on you to get off of the plane. I had a very bad experience with this product & I would urge anyone not to deal with the many headaches I had to deal with.

doesn't fit down airplane aisle
This is a great concept and we had several people ask us about it in the airport. Unfortunately with our Britax Marathon carseats it would not fit down the airplane aisle. One trip we took our one year old twins out of their carseats/wheels and carried them separately to their seats. The return trip we carried the babies in their seats/wheels to our seats on the plane. Neither worked well. If there was only one baby and two adults this would probably work perfectly.
