Great for getting babis to sleep
We have used this CD for our son now for the past month and a half and it has been wonderful. He is 4 months old and sleeps in our room and the CD puts us out too. It sounds like a fan and it is nice to be able to adjust the volume. I only wish I had known about these CD's earlier.

Better than the real thing!
I prefer this CD over using a fan because my infant daughter doesn't tolerate the wind that is produced by a real fan. Also, you can adjust the volume of this CD! The only complaint I have is that at the end of this CD, the sound tapers off for a minute or two. This may be fine for most babies, but my baby always seems to stir and/or awaken during this quiet time. This CD is especially good for travel, as it is portable and it blocks out outside noise.
