Description
Sometimes baby needs a little help falling asleep. With a gentle squeeze, this cuddly friend glows and plays soft music, lullabies and soothing sounds of the ocean. After five minutes the music fades, lights dim and baby drifts to sleep. Includes eight lullabies and power/volume control for quiet play. Requires three "AA" batteries, included.

Soothing without an off button
The music is nice, the glowing is interesting, and the toy is soft. The main drawback occurs when daughter gets tired of the toy and the music is still going, I need to open it up in the back in order to turn it off.

Makes me fall asleep too.. :)
My daughter is really attached to being held and had a hard time sleeping in her own bed. She had digestive problems since she was born - and had constant stomach aches.. I held her all the time and she slept with us in our bed. When I did put her to bed, she was not happy about being alone.. I bought this seahorse and WOW.. she falls asleep most times with it..

Changed our tune about the Soothe & Glow Seahorse
Originally I said (see below) that they (my twins) were not that interested. Well, things have changed already -- about 2 weeks ago in the middle of big time teething, I started to use the glow seahorse with one of my sons to soothe him when he was overly tired and crying. Now all we have to do is give it to him to hug and turn it on and he settles down and stops crying fairly soon after.
My twin boys are just turning 7 months and they are not very interested in this. They have a Baby Einstein crib mobile (resembles a fish tank and plays music) that they both seem to really like but they haven't taken to these. I think they will probably like them (they both have one) a bit better when they are a little bit older.
