Great Scale
Purchased this scale when I joined Weight Watchers. Made measuring so easy -- don't need all the spoons, cups etc. You can measure an entire meal by zeroing between the the various foods you place on a dish. Very easy to use -- highly recommended!

Now 1 Serving Really is 1 Serving
My last two kitchen scales were very low tech and so not very accurate. I also couldn't weigh really small amounts.
This scale is great for anyone who is using the CalorieKing Nutrition Manager or keeping any type of food diary.
This is a great scale for anyone trying to eat healthier and trying to scale down their portions.
It doesn't take up a lot of space on the counter and is easy on the eyes.
The scale also uses 4 AAA batteries vs some of the other scales that use harder to find & more expensive batteries.

You'll be surprised
It's interesting to see how much a serving really is. Sometimes something that looks like a serving is actually 2 or 3. This scale helps me keep my portion control in check. It works great in conjunction with a computer based diet monitoring program. I can just type in the weights of foods and the software calculates the nutritional values.
Where the scale comes in really handy is when I'm cooking a recipe for the family. I can tare my pan, then load in the ingredients, punch in the codes, and total it out. I can then take the total weight of the food and break down the nutritional content per serving. Unfortunately, there is no way to store that data for the next time. The 999 foods loaded in the computer are all she wrote. I also wish there were more codes for recipe ingredients (sugar, honey...) and beverages (juices).
I also like the number and types of stats there are for every item. The numbers cover weight loss diets, diabetic diets, cardiovascular diets, even vitamin K for people on blood thinners. The calculator option for food packages is nice, but really not that necessary.
This was a worthwhile purchase. It would be 5 stars for more basic codes or the option to load one's own.
