Kota Triceratops
I bought this toy for my 5 year old for Christmas. She is totally into dinosaurs. She loves this toy. Best gift she received. She has not gotten bored with this toy yet. She plays with it every day. I am glad I bought it.

Not worth the space in your play room or the money...
My mother-in-law bought this for my son for Christmas this year. We were excited about it, but so far, it's kind of a dud. My son is 2 and my daughter is 4 1/2. Both will play with it for about 2 minutes and that's it ... just long enough to turn it on so that it starts roaring and making noise and then leave it in the corner of the room. They seem to both have trouble meaningfully activating sensors to make it purposefully do anything. They do both love to feed it and occasionally my son will (after pushing his step stool over first!) climb on top of it. Both kids are too light to activate the sensors in the sitting area to make it sing songs and such (My daughter is 25% for height and weight as is my son for his age). So, overall, it's cool to look at and it's an interesting concept. The size certainly is impressive, but it's not winning any awards in my house for "favorite toy" ... not yet at least! :-(

Kota is a hit!
My 4 year old stopped in his tracks every time he saw the commercial for this toy. So of course, I looked it up for Christmas. I could not believe the price, so it was out of the question at first. Then one day I found it for just about a hundred bucks! I was all over that, and Kota was under our tree. While my son was with his father one day, I put it together, and my 21 year old sister, my mom, my grandma and I all sat and played with the dino for about a half an hour.
My son was VERY excited to receive Kota (or Kato as my aunt likes to say), and we had great fun playing with him all morning. Kota is very interactive, and the adults who have been around during the holidays have found themselves roaring at her (my son insists Kota is a girl), and calling her name. My son loves that she burps too.
All in all, she was absolutely a great purchase. She wouldn't have ended up under our tree at almost 300 bucks, but at a third of that, I could totally justify it. However, I might have been willing to buy her at the retail price if she also walked. Even without walking though, she is awesome.
My son has played with her every day since Christmas, and has asked me to take care of her when he goes to his dad's house.
