Very difficult game for some
My 8 year old son received this game for xmas. For now the game is too hard for him to play and it sits in his DS case. However, I played it (very poorly), but was amazed at the graphics and details.

A fun, and sadly short, Star Wars excursion
The first thing you'll notice when you fire up Star Wars The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance for the DS is that the game boasts some impressive production values in terms of graphics and sound. The next thing you'll notice is that the amazingly simple touch-screen based controls make the game all the more fun and enjoyable. Selecting from a roster of Jedi's from the animated Clone Wars series including Obi-Wan, Anakin, Mace Windu, and more; Jedi Alliance pits you against adversaries such as Count Dooku, General Grievous, and the Separatist Army as the storyline takes place between Episodes II and III. The game boasts some fluid animation effects as you take on hordes of enemies, and there's some surprisingly detailed environments as well that really show off what the DS can do graphically. The game also boasts some great voice work and sound effects as well, with some moments of a dynamic musical score making things all the sweeter in the audio department. While the combat is the high point of Jedi Alliance, the game isn't without its flaws. Exploration and puzzle elements aren't nearly as fun as the combat elements of the game, and as a whole, the single-player mode is too short. However, there's plenty of unlockable extras to be uncovered, and the game's impressive production values more than make it worth checking out. All in all, Star Wars The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance for the DS is definitely worth your time if you're a Star Wars fan or just like good action games, and even if The Clone Wars series isn't your thing, you'll find some definite enjoyment here.

Exciting and interesting game!
I received this for a Christmas gift. When I started playing it, the beginning video was a little long, but interesting. When the game actually started, I liked it more. You have to pay attention to what you are doing because it moves quickly.
