both children love it!

Such an interesting toy. My daughter really enjoyed it from about 1 year to 2 years, and my 8-month-old son has enjoyed it since he was about 5 months. They love to suck on the tags and throw the "ball" which is easy to hold. While the little vibrating thing is too hard for the small ones to play with (requires a bit of coordination to pull it away from the rest of the ball to start the motion), it's extremely helpful when my son is fussing in the car (and my partner is driving)--I'll put the ball on his chest, and pull the vibrating thing and it distracts him and makes him giggle. He also really likes to suck on the little threads and feel them vibrate.

good for grabbing

I got this for my daughter when she was 3 months old because her fingers were strong enough to grab things but not to hold on for very long. I play tug of war games with her with this. It is very soft so it is appropriate for even small babies, and it smushes up to fit in your diaper bag. Note that it is not really a ball -- if you want something that rolls, bounces, etc., you want something like the Oball.

wonderful toy for baby to learn to hold!

I bought this for my son's 3 month birthday present :) It is terrific for him to grasp with both hands and colorful too. He really seems to enjoy playing with it; one part squeaks which is cute. The sides are perfect for little hands to hold onto! The lightbulb-looking thingies have a rustly noise when touched. Fun toy!
